Information about association
We have the right to have a good life and a future. We have the right to dream about home and love, relationships and hobbies as well as work. Our association, Oulun seudun kehitysvammaisten tuki ry, was founded in 1965 to support Oulu residents with intellectual disabilities and their families. The goal of our association is the equality and participation of people with intellectual disabilities in society. The association already has more than 400 members in Oulu´s area.
The association's mission is to promote the interests of people with intellectual disabilities and their families locally. The task is also to organize training, information and hobby activities for different age groups.
Our association is part of the national activities of the intellectual disabled support association, Inclusion Finland KVTL. Read more about Inclusion Finland KVTL.
